  • Lead daily janitorial and pantry operations across assigned Santa Monica buildings and floors.
  • Conduct daily team check-ins and communicate priorities, assignments, changes, and expectations.
  • Provide clear direction to employees and follow up to ensure assigned work is completed.
  • Serve as the primary communication bridge between Spanish-speaking employees and English-speaking management.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, including operational instructions, corrections, training, and follow-up.
  • Monitor daily attendance, punctuality, coverage, and staffing needs.
  • Coordinate coverage when employees are absent or assignments require adjustment.
  • Perform routine walkthroughs to verify cleanliness, stocking, sanitation, and SOW compliance.
  • Identify missed tasks, quality issues, supply shortages, and areas requiring corrective action.
  • Ensure employees follow established SOPs, SOW requirements, safety procedures, and client expectations.
  • Train and retrain employees on cleaning procedures, equipment, stocking, and site-specific requirements.
  • Monitor pantry, refrigerator, snack, beverage, utensil, paper-product, and coffee-supply inventory.
  • Utilize company inventory and ordering programs to monitor stock levels and submit supply orders as needed.
  • Monitor coffee, beverage, and other client equipment for cleanliness and operational issues.
  • Ensure downed equipment or maintenance issues are documented and communicated through the appropriate ticketing or service process.
  • Maintain professional communication with client representatives, building personnel, vendors, and employees.
  • Reinforce company policies: phone usage, food usage, attendance, workplace conduct, and professionalism.
  • Address routine employee performance and conduct issues professionally.
  • Maintain awareness of high-priority areas and adjust team focus based on traffic, client needs, and operational conditions.
  • Ensure employees understand new assignments, layouts, supply locations, and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and service-focused work environment.
  • Lead by example while remaining responsible for the performance and follow-through of the team.
  • Identify recurring operational problems and communicate them to management so corrective systems can be implemented.
  • Ensure the team is prepared to perform consistently without requiring constant direct management intervention.
