Position Summary
The Class C Driver is responsible for driving and operating vehicles to transport goods and materials. The Class C Driver will adhere to safety regulations and maintain high standards of efficiency and productivity in their work. This is a crucial role that contributes to the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse or distribution center.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of goods, maintaining the vehicle, and complying with all state and federal regulations.
- Expected to adhere to the assigned schedule, maintain communication with dispatch, and ensure that all necessary paperwork and logs are up to date.
- Must also conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its safety and compliance with regulations.
- When picking up a load, the driver must verify that the load matches the order and is secured properly. They must also ensure that the vehicle is properly loaded, ensure the weight of the load is distributed evenly, and make sure that the seal is intact, properly documented, and matches the shipping paperwork prior to departure.
- Must inspect the trailer they are utilizing for any damage and ensure that all lights and brakes are working correctly.
- Ensure loads are dropped off and verified along with the delivery of paperwork in the receiving office.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and quality control.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Performs inspection of vehicle prior to use, moves from the warehouse doors
- Checking as they are spotted for loading and unloading and pulling from doors.
- Will be responsible for inputting data into company system.
- Will Service multiple buildings as required.
- Travel to various locations is required within Southern California, LA County & OC County
- Responsible for maintaining safety, communication and attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age
- No Tickets, violations, infractions or convictions on their driving record within the last 3 years
- Recent DMV print out from the applicant.
- Must pass DOT drug screen and physical.
- Must have a current Class C license
Physical Requirements
- Depending on the length of the shift, employees may need to have physical stamina to remain active and drive for long hours.
- Multitasking requires physical agility and the ability to stay organized.
- Employees may be required to bend, squat, or reach up high to organize, or stock products.
- Some retail positions require employees to maintain cleanliness in the store, which can involve bending down to clean floors or wiping down displays.
- Restocking low shelves or accessing high displays may involve frequent bending or stretching.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally
- Employee may be subject to extremely cold temperatures typically below 32 degrees for periods of more than 5 to 10 minutes.
- Employee may be subject to extremely hot temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, and humidity.
- Employees may be subject to noise. There is sufficient noise
Schedule Requirement:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- 3rd Shift: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
- Saturdays off
- Sunday availability required - flexible scheduling
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Class C Driver’s license
- DMV Driving Report

Compensation:
- $20 - $23 Range per hour
- Sick Pay / 40 hrs. per year
- 80 hrs. PTO – Full time
