Desired Qualifications:
- Valid teaching credential with special education authorization
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary, middle, or high school students
- Strong classroom and behavior management skills
- Knowledge of IEP processes and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with specialized instructional techniques and adaptive technology
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning profiles
- Deliver engaging instruction in a range of content areas, adapting lessons to accommodate diverse abilities
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth
- Create an inclusive classroom culture that values all learners
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team planning
- Mitigate challenges and celebrate student milestones
