Pay: $25–$34/hour (single baby; higher for twins/triplets) | Shifts: 8–9 hour overnight shifts | Full-time & Part-time
Join a 4.7-Star Team That Actually Has Your Back
Let Mommy Sleep isn't just another agency — our caregivers consistently tell us this is the most supported, most flexible, and best-paying newborn care work they've had. We're proud of our reputation, and we're looking for a handful of seasoned, dependable caregivers to join our Southern California team and grow with us long-term.
This role is for you if you:
• Have genuine, hands-on newborn/infant care experience — not "willing to learn," but already excellent at it
• Are reliable to the core — families are trusting you overnight with their newborn, and we’re trusting you to show up, every time, on time
• Have open, flexible availability — the more nights you can work, the more consistent and higher-earning your schedule with us will be. We reward caregivers who can say yes to short-notice and recurring shifts alike.
If that's you, we want to hear from you today.
What You’ll Do
• Provide overnight newborn and postpartum care: soothing, feeding, diapering, and swaddling
• Support breastfeeding and bottle-feeding, and guide parents on safe sleep and infant care
• Offer compassionate, knowledgeable support to new parents through the exhausting early weeks
• Stay alert and engaged for the full overnight shift (minimum 8 hours, typically 9pm–7am)
Overnight care isn't a side gig — our families need the same trusted face night after night, and you deserve steady, predictable income. We prioritize recurring placements for caregivers who commit to consistent availability. The more consistent you are, the more consistent your schedule and paycheck will be.
What We Require
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with infants/newborns (this is non-negotiable — please don't apply without it)
• Open, reliable availability for overnight shifts, including the ability to commit to recurring placements
• Current vaccinations: flu shot, MMR, Hep B, Tdap (documented proof or titers within the last 10 years), plus a recent TB test
• Clean TrustLine background check and at least 3 strong, verifiable references
• Current CPR/First Aid/BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation — you’ll travel to client homes across Los Angeles and surrounding areas (roughly 15–40 miles depending on your location)
• Strong communication skills — you’ll be trusted to relay important care details to parents clearly and compassionately;
- Personality - empathetic, sweet, loving, and caring
Preferred (not required, but a plus):CNA, or HHA license/certification.
Moms, nursing students, retired nurses, grandmothers, also considered
Ready to Apply?
Tell us about your care experience in detail — we read every application closely, and specifics matter. If you're an experienced, dependable caregiver with the availability to take on consistent overnight work, we'd love to talk.
