Job Title: Data Collection Operator

Type of Role: Direct Hire

Shift / Hours: Full-Time, 12-hour shifts

Hourly Range: $30/hr + applicable 10% Differential for PM shifts
Location: Fremont, California United States

Shift Details

A – AM Shift
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday – Tuesday + every other Wednesday

B – AM Shift
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday – Saturday + every other Wednesday

C – PM Shift
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Sunday – Tuesday + every other Saturday

D – PM Shift
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Wednesday – Friday + every other Saturday

About the Job

Our client is seeking highly motivated and adaptable individuals to join their data collection team and support innovative robotics operations. In this role, you will collect data, perform hands-on testing, provide equipment feedback, and help improve processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Collect data by manipulating objects, walking predetermined routes, and following detailed testing guidelines and protocols in facility and public environments.
  • Wear motion capture equipment while performing designated movements and actions based on project requirements.
  • Start and stop recording devices and perform minor equipment and software troubleshooting.
  • Provide feedback on equipment performance and testing results.
  • Analyze and report on data collected during each shift.
  • Upload collected data and complete daily reports documenting observations, issues, and feedback.
  • Maintain equipment in safe working condition and follow all safety protocols.
  • Communicate equipment concerns, safety issues, and observations promptly to leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase individual and team efficiency.

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to walk for 7+ hours per day while carrying up to 30 lbs. of equipment.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, body coordination, and kinesthetic awareness.
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs throughout the workday.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and testing protocols.
  • Basic proficiency with software used for data uploading and reporting.
  • Ability to perform basic technical troubleshooting and quickly learn new technologies.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and perform daily regional driving.
  • Strong interest in robotics, technology, and emerging products is highly preferred.

Pay & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $30/hr + $12,000 Equity + FT Hourly Benefits (Accrued PTO, 401K, Health insurance, etc.)Transportation: Shuttle Available from Modesto and Stockton BUT must have own reliable transportation About the Company
