WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
This is a per diem position in Fremont, CA.
WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?
As our Optometrist, you'll spend your day helping patients achieve and maintain healthy vision while serving as a valuable member of an integrated healthcare team. You'll diagnose and correct refractive errors including nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and amblyopia; prescribe eyeglasses and ocular medications; order and interpret diagnostic testing; and identify, monitor, and manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, macular degeneration, and red eye. Throughout your day, you'll evaluate patients for signs of systemic diseases including hypertension and diabetes, collaborate with fellow healthcare providers regarding referrals, thoroughly document clinical findings and treatment plans, educate patients on protecting their vision, and help ensure every individual receives the highest level of compassionate care possible.

- Maintain all licensing requirements for the State of California
- Board Certified with TPA and TLG/TPG Glaucoma Certification
- Graduate of a School or College of Optometry accredited by the State Board of Optometry
Preferred qualifications:
- 2+ years of optometry experience
- Bilingual communication skills
