Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid (or eligibility for) state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience preferred, but highly motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, consultation, and teamwork abilities
- Expertise in psychoeducational evaluations, data interpretation, and report writing
- Dedication to culturally responsive practices and the unique needs of every learner
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and mental health support to students, as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth and success
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including eligibility and IEP team discussions
- Offer consultation and professional development on learning and behavioral strategies to school staff
