Guillotine Cutter Operator
- Set up, operate, and maintain guillotine cutting machines to trim printed materials, paper stock, and other substrates to precise specifications.
- Read and interpret job tickets, blueprints, and cutting layouts to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Adjust blade settings, back gauge, and cutting programs for optimal efficiency and minimal waste.
- Inspect finished pieces for alignment, size accuracy, and quality standards before packaging or further processing.
- Perform routine maintenance, blade changes, and safety checks to ensure smooth operation and compliance with workplace safety protocols.
- Collaborate with press operators, bindery staff, and production supervisors to meet deadlines and production goals.
