We are a patient-focused medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. Flexible schedule between our Oceanside & Encinitas locations.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and room patients in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.
  • Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and supplies.
  • Schedule appointments, answer phones, and assist with patient inquiries.
  • Manage electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refills.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent), but experience may be considered.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or clinic is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
