Job Description
This role focuses on safely operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts to support efficient warehouse operations, including order picking, shipping and receiving, inventory replenishment, and accurate staging of outbound loads in a fast-paced, climate-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload products throughout the warehouse.
- Support order fulfillment by performing order picking, manual case picking, and product put-away with a high level of accuracy.
- Handle shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading trailers and staging outbound shipments.
- Prepare, verify, and stage products for shipment, ensuring correct quantities, labels, and documentation.
- Perform outbound load audits to confirm product counts, identify labeling issues, and correct discrepancies before shipment.
- Use RF scanners to pick, track, and verify inventory and orders in the warehouse management system.
- Replenish inventory in designated warehouse locations to maintain product availability and efficient workflow.
- Consolidate pallets and organize product storage areas to maximize space utilization and maintain orderliness.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and operational standards at all times while operating equipment and performing warehouse tasks.
- Assist with general material handling, including moving, stacking, and organizing products as needed.
- Support additional warehouse duties and special projects as assigned, consistent with training and job qualifications.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience operating stand-up forklifts.
- Proficiency with stand-up forklift equipment, including Linde and Crown models.
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations, including picking, shipping, and receiving.
- Hands-on experience with order picking and manual case picking in a high-volume environment.
- Strong material handling skills, including safe movement and stacking of products and pallets.
- Ability to use RF scanners for picking, inventory tracking, and order verification.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when verifying product counts, labels, and shipment documentation.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to established safety and operational procedures.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active tasks throughout the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience performing inventory-related tasks such as replenishment and basic inventory checks.
- Comfort working in a structured, multi-shift operation with overtime requirements.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain orderly storage and staging areas.
- Reliability and flexibility to support additional duties and occasional special projects as needed.

Work Environment
The role is based in a large, climate-controlled warehouse with approximately 100 employees across all shifts. You will spend most of your time on your feet and must be comfortable standing for extended periods while performing physically active tasks. The operation runs multiple shifts with structured schedules. Schedule A runs Sunday through Thursday with 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 2nd shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and 3rd shift from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Schedule B runs Tuesday through Saturday with the same shift times. Overtime of up to 10 hours per week is expected, with the option to work a sixth day as needed. You will work around forklifts, RF scanners, pallets, and standard warehouse equipment in a clean, organized, and safety-focused environment.
