Position: Light Industrial – Record Center Specialist I
Location: 5086 4th Street, Irwindale, CA 91706
Schedule:
• Monday–Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 30‐minute lunch + two 15‐minute breaks
• NO WEEKENDS
Status: 3‐Month TEMP‐TO‐HIRE (Union Role)
Pay:
• $19.00/hr to start
• $21.50/hr once hired
What You’ll Be Doing (Very Physical Role)
This is a fast‐paced, high‐activity warehouse position:
• Lift, carry, arrange, and load boxes, bins, and totes (10–100 lbs)
• Process files, books, binders, backup tapes, and media
• Stand, bend, kneel, squat, twist, reach, and climb throughout the shift
• Load boxes onto pallets; shrink‐wrap and stage shipments
• Load pallets onto trucks (manually and with pallet jacks)
• Safely operate hand carts, pallet jacks, and ladders
• Scan, track, and locate materials using handheld scanners and computer systems
• Read labels and accurately process inbound and outbound orders
Physically demanding, but steady, structured, and well‐run.
What You MUST Be Able to Do
• Lift and carry up to 100 lbs without assistance, repeatedly
• Work on concrete and uneven surfaces, stairs, and inclines
• Safely operate material‐handling equipment
• Read and write English
• Work independently and follow safety rules
• Be reliable, punctual, and consistent
Safety Footwear Required (Non‐Negotiable)
• ASTM F2413‐11 compliant safety toe footwear
• Slip‐resistant rating of “Better” or “Best”
