Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Behavior Technician (BT) to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with developmental and behavioral needs in their homes. The Behavior Technician works under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and support skill development in home, school, and community settings.
Key Responsibilities

Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA

Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy services to clients

Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior

Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote skill acquisition

Assist with teaching communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills

Maintain professional, ethical, and confidential standards at all times

Communicate effectively with supervisors and caregivers

Attend required training, supervision, and team meetings
Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations

Ability to pass background checks and required clearances
Preferred Qualifications

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain

Coursework or training in psychology, education, special education, or related fields

Prior ABA or behavioral health experience
Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and engage in active play with children

Ability to lift up to [weight, e.g., 40 lbs] if necessary

Ability to respond quickly in behavior support situations
