Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Behavior Technician (BT) to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with developmental and behavioral needs in their homes. The Behavior Technician works under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and support skill development in home, school, and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA

  • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy services to clients

  • Collect accurate data on client progress and behavior

  • Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote skill acquisition

  • Assist with teaching communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills

  • Maintain professional, ethical, and confidential standards at all times

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and caregivers

  • Attend required training, supervision, and team meetings

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities (preferred)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client locations

  • Ability to pass background checks and required clearances

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain

  • Coursework or training in psychology, education, special education, or related fields

  • Prior ABA or behavioral health experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and engage in active play with children

  • Ability to lift up to [weight, e.g., 40 lbs] if necessary

  • Ability to respond quickly in behavior support situations
