Automotive Internet Sales Consultant-

We're seeking experienced Automotive Internet Sales Consultants to join our growing team. Auto Sales Experience Required. We are looking for individuals who are outgoing, confident, self-starters who are able to multi-task in a busy dealership environment. Bilingual in Spanish is a Plus!

Pay: This Position has a Pay Scale including Base Compensation of $16.90 per hour (or higher if required by law), and potential Commission Compensation based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved. Commission Compensation may range from zero (if minimum sales results are not achieved) without any upper limit other than sales performance. Most of our employees in this position for at least a year make in excess of $50,000 per year.

In addition, the Dealership offers fast-start bonus opportunities of up to $2,000 per month if minimum sales targets are met during the first three months of employment.

Automotive Internet Sales Consultant Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 2-5 years of automotive sales and customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations.
• Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license required and clean driving record.
• Able to communicate persuasively with customers to set appointments, and work with customers in the dealership to make deals.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a PLUS!!
• 18 + years of age
• Authorized to work in the US

Automotive Internet Sales Consultant Primary Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Handling of incoming internet leads from a number of websites, and sources.
• Prompt responses with outgoing phone calls and emails.
• Schedule sales appointments and reschedule no show customers
• Contact customers based on current marketing incentives.
• Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales. Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
• Following up on all unsold customers, and any special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
• Maintaining a prospect and owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
• Develop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle features.
• Demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom and via test drive.
• Provide new vehicle to customer through established delivery process, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork.
• Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, loyalty and long term clientele.
• Develop a prospecting system, making calls and sending emails to potential customers to set appointments.
• Other duties as assigned.

This person must be able to stay well organized, so customers are contacted promptly, and handled correctly. Must also be self-motivated, and able to responsibly plan their work day.
