Job DescriptionBioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for Maintenance Mechanics to work for a leading Greater Riverside/Los Angeles area cosmetic company.Pay Rate: $30-40/hour depending on experience2nd (start time between 12-3pm) and 3rd (start time between 8-10pm) shifts availableMust be open to weekend and overtime work6+ months temp-to-hireResponsibilities:

• Complete assigned preventative maintenance for scheduled equipment.
• Completes departmental training as well as perform daily tasks with safety, quality, and efficiency mind set.
• Completes production line set ups according to schedule.
• Participate in equipment cross training to ensure proper coverage is always available on the production floor.
• Communicate any equipment needs and assist with building a critical spare parts list to avoid downtime.
• Work with production to meet daily productivity targets by meeting scheduled set up times.
• Collaborate regularly on startups and line changes to reduce lost time on the production floor.
• Collaborate to reduce equipment downtime related to equipment failures.
• Participate on maintenance tests/capability reports to ensure new products are an adequate fit for available equipment.
• Interact with customer base during facility visits for new product launches, production opportunities and or customer audits.
• Participate in research of adequate tooling needs for new products.
• Support with new equipment installation and roll out.
• Works with Engineering and external service agencies to improve equipment efficiency.
• Follow quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• Support routine audits for safety opportunities such as missing or damaged guards, electrical equipment, etc.
• Participate in root cause investigations on production that is out of specification.
• Enforce cGMP compliance and make product quality a priority.
• Support with line reference sheets, one point lessons, and cross training material to develop line mechanics and support staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience/Requirements:

• High school diploma; Degree from a vocational school is a plus.
  • Professional Certifications are preferred but not required
• Experience working in manufacturing preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of production floor equipment.
  • Liquid filling lines, Cappers, Fillers, Coders, Label machines, etc.
