Key Qualifications:
- Active ESN credential (Education Specialist - Moderate/Severe or equivalent) required
- Proven experience working with elementary-aged children in a special education setting
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and families
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan, adapt, and deliver engaging instructional lessons tailored to diverse student needs
- Manage an elementary caseload, ensuring appropriate modifications and accommodations
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Monitor, evaluate, and document student development in alignment with IEP goals
- Contribute to a positive, creative, and adaptive school culture
- Maintain open communication with all stakeholders, advocating for each child’s academic and social success
