Are you passionate about animals and interested in building a career in professional pet grooming?

At Bark & Mane of South Bay, our Mobile Groom Techs gain hands-on experience while developing the skills needed to become professional groomers.

You’ll bathe, dry, brush, prep, and pamper pets in a fully equipped mobile grooming van while receiving paid, hands-on training from experienced groomers.

What You’ll Do
Bathe, dry, brush, and prepare dogs and cats for grooming
Assist with de-shedding, coat prep, nail care, and other grooming services
Safely handle pets of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized grooming van
Communicate professionally with customers
Continue developing your grooming skills through training and coaching

What We’re Looking For
Must genuinely enjoy working with dogs and cats
Minimum 1 year of professional animal-handling experience – Bathing, veterinary, shelter, boarding, daycare, or grooming experience preferred
⏰ Dependable & Professional – Punctual, reliable, and proud of your work
Independent & Self-Motivated – Comfortable working independently
Team Player – Communicates well and accepts coaching
Valid Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record – Minimum 3 years of driving experience and comfortable driving a large van
Strong Customer Service Skills – Comfortable working with both pets and people
Physically Capable – Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 60 lbs.
