Job Description

Job DescriptionQuality Assurance Payrate: $30.00Location: San Fernando Valley, CA
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain the company’s Quality Management System in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
  • Review quality documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes and documentation meet established quality procedures and customer requirements.
  • Assist with the documentation and investigation of nonconforming products or processes.
  • Support corrective and preventive action activities.
  • Maintain organized and accurate quality records.
  • Assist with internal and external quality audits.
  • Work with Production, Engineering, Inspection, and Management to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Monitor compliance with company quality procedures and established aerospace quality standards.
  • Assist with continuous improvement efforts within the Quality Department.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and other quality-related documentation as required.
  • Perform additional Quality Assurance duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge and working understanding of AS9100 is required.
  • Experience working with a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Understanding of quality documentation, nonconformance, corrective actions, and audit requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Production, Engineering, and Management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

ITAR RequirementMust meet applicable ITAR eligibility requirements.
Preferred

  • Previous aerospace manufacturing quality experience.
  • Experience supporting AS9100 audits.
  • Experience with NCRs and corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with First Article Inspection documentation.
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing documentation and traceability requirements.
