Looking for an experienced & skilled Sr Buyer with 7-10 yrs purchasing experience in electronics field to make a strong impact with a CM in the electronic manufacturing industry. This person will have well-rounded abilities in all aspects of purchasing...including negotiations, high level POs for PCBs and custom parts/materials and quoting. Having strong interpersonal skills and teamwork building approach to be very effective in a small 3-5 person purchasing office and with current vendor contacts already established at Company and those meaningful contacts that may be brought along. Interfacing with the Engineering Dept and learning the Enterprise MRP system so that buy plans come under budget and material needs are met in a fast-paced environment. There are opportunities for managerial advancement in first year and potential to work closely with a very seasoned veteran in the field with 30+ yrs experience. Computer skills with experience in Microsoft office and basic exposure to common MRP software systems like Expandable are a very necessary requirement. Submit resume for consideration.
