The Logistics Technician plays a key role in a technology integration center, managing the flow of physical technology products through the warehouse and integration area where products are assembled, configured, and tested to meet specific customer requirements. In this role, you work under direction to handle products and update information systems across core warehouse functions, ensuring accurate asset tracking, smooth movement of goods, and reliable data collection throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Handle the flow of physical technology products through the warehouse and integration center, supporting assembly, configuration, and testing activities.
  • Perform core warehouse functions including receiving, slotting, inventory handling, picking, benching, un-benching, boxing, and shipping.
  • Accurately pick products and materials according to work orders and customer requirements.
  • Package products securely and efficiently to prepare them for shipment and delivery.
  • Load and unload materials and finished goods safely, using appropriate equipment and methods.
  • Operate pallet jacks to move products and materials within the warehouse and integration center.
  • Maintain accurate asset tracking by keeping detailed records of all assets assigned until completion of rack builds.
  • Capture and record critical device information, including asset tags, serial numbers, MAC addresses, and other data required by the company and clients.
  • Update associated information systems to reflect current status of assets, inventory, and shipments.
  • Support shipping activities by preparing orders, labeling packages, and ensuring correct documentation.
  • Follow established procedures and work instructions to maintain quality, accuracy, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and smooth workflow.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with picking operations in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • General labor experience, including handling, moving, and organizing physical products.
  • Proficiency in packaging products securely and efficiently for shipment.
  • Ability to perform loading and unloading tasks safely and effectively.
  • Experience using pallet jacks to move materials within a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to collect and record data accurately, including asset tags, serial numbers, and MAC addresses.
  • Attention to detail in asset tracking and asset management activities.
  • Capability to update and work with basic information systems related to inventory and shipping.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in asset tracking and asset management within a technology or warehouse environment.
  • Familiarity with capturing and managing critical device information such as asset tags, serial numbers, and MAC addresses.
  • Comfort working in a contract-to-hire arrangement, with the potential to transition to a longer-term role based on performance.
  • Ability to follow structured processes and documentation requirements for client and company needs.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse and technology integration center environment, where physical technology products are received, stored, assembled, configured, tested, and shipped. The work involves regular use of pallet jacks and other standard warehouse equipment, as well as interaction with information systems for inventory and asset tracking. Two shift options are available: an early shift from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and a swing shift from 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., with multiple openings on each shift. The environment requires wearing steel-toed shoes as part of the dress code for safety, and work is performed around racks, devices, and packaging areas typical of a technology-focused logistics facility.

This is a Contract position based out of Livermore, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
