Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Lumper for a fast-paced warehouse operation in Sacramento. This is a full-time opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy physical work and thrive in a warehouse environment. The role involves loading, unloading, stocking tires and automotive parts, and supporting inventory control processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and stock tires and automotive parts
- Utilize scanners to locate, track, and put away inventory
- Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization
- Move products safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
- Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 80 lbs
- Must be able to perform team lifts and use mechanical equipment when required
- Ability to push up to 40 lbs when handling barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
