Structural Engineer – PE


Full-Time | In-Office | Relocation Considered

US Citizen/Green Card Only


Talent Solutions Group is recruiting an experienced Structural Engineer for an established engineering organization with a diverse portfolio of commercial, multifamily, and institutional projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) who wants significant project responsibility, exposure to complex structural design work, and the opportunity to join an experienced engineering team.


The position is in-office, and candidates must currently live in the area or be willing to relocate. Relocation candidates are encouraged to apply.


What You'll Do

  • Perform structural analysis and design for commercial and multifamily projects
  • Develop structural calculations, plans, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Design and evaluate structural systems using appropriate materials and construction methods
  • Review drawings and engineering documents for technical accuracy
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Support projects from initial design through construction
  • Respond to technical questions and resolve structural issues during construction
  • Perform site visits and field evaluations as required
  • Help ensure projects meet applicable building codes and engineering standards
  • Manage multiple assignments and deadlines with limited supervision


Required Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Approximately 8+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Strong commercial building design experience
  • Multifamily project experience required
  • Demonstrated structural analysis and design capabilities
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes and structural design standards
  • Ability to independently manage engineering assignments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, clients, and other engineers
  • Willingness to work primarily in-office

Preferred Experience

  • Structural Engineer (SE) license
  • Experience with complex commercial or institutional projects
  • Experience supporting government or public-sector projects
  • Broad experience across multiple building types and structural systems
  • Project leadership or mentoring experience
