Our client, a growing skilled nursing facility (SNF) operator, is seeking an experienced Regional Business Office Manager to support, train, and oversee Business Office operations across a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities.

This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, takes pride in the details, and genuinely enjoys developing people. You'll be on the move visiting facilities, solving problems, and making a measurable impact on revenue cycle performance across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct oversight and hands-on support to Business Office Managers and their teams across approximately four assigned facilities per month
  • Monitor and manage AR performance metrics
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing across all payer types, including Medicare, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, Managed Care, Hospice, and private pay
  • Review census accuracy, payer setup, authorizations, eligibility, and billing holds and drive corrections when gaps are identified
  • Train, coach, and hold Business Office staff accountable to company expectations and following up until improvement is demonstrated
  • Communicate facility risks, staffing concerns, and cash flow barriers clearly to Administrators, AR Consultants, and RCM leadership

What You'll Bring

  • 2 - 4+ years of SNF Business Office experience; prior experience as a Business Office Manager strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid/Medi-Cal, Managed Care, and other SNF payer types
  • Ability to read and analyze aging, billing, and census reports
  • A natural teacher and collaborator
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and the ability to juggle priorities across several facilities simultaneously
  • Comfortable with travel and a flexible, ever-changing day-to-day schedule
  • Proficiency with PCC, RFMS, Waystar, or similar SNF billing systems is a plus
