You know the VA. You’ve proven yourself in medical device sales. Now bring that experience to a company where you can help drive its next stage of growth.
Our client is an innovative, pre-IPO medical device company expanding its commercial team. The company is already selling into the VA, partnering with Podiatry and Physical Therapy to bring patients a wearable device for use at home.
This is an opportunity to build on an existing market presence, develop new relationships, and make a meaningful contribution during a critical growth phase. If you’re resourceful, adaptable, and motivated by the opportunity to help shape a growing business, we’d love to connect.
What You’ll Do
- Grow the business across the Bay Area and Sacramento
- Build and strengthen relationships with VA physicians, therapists, and prosthetics teams
- Drive adoption of a home-use medical device through Podiatry and Physical Therapy
- Develop new business while supporting existing accounts
- Work directly with patients and patient advocacy groups
- Adapt your coverage and travel schedule as regional opportunities develop
Territory & Travel
The territory covers the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento. You’ll balance account development, new business opportunities, and patient support across the region.
A flexible approach to travel is essential. Up to 50% overnight travel should be expected.
Compensation & Benefits
- $120,000 base salary plus commission
- Expected first-year earnings of $175,000–$200,000+
- Potential equity opportunity
- Four weeks of PTO plus eight company holidays
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Full travel reimbursement, including mileage at the federal rate
What We’re Looking For
- Required: experience calling on physicians, therapists, and prosthetics teams within the VA
- At least three years of successful medical device sales experience, with a proven record of results
- Four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited college
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfort working directly with patients and patient advocacy groups
- Stable employment history, including at least two years in your current role
- Initiative, adaptability, and the drive to succeed in an early-stage company
If you’re ready to put your VA relationships and medical device sales experience to work in a growing company with significant earning potential, we’d love to hear from you.
