SUMMARY:

\n

\n
• We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Janitorial Associates. You will keep the distribution center clean, safe, and presentable, maintaining warehouse floors, restrooms, break areas, and office spaces throughout your shift.

\n

\n

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS - JANITORIAL:

\n

\n
• When working in a Janitorial position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following:

\n

• Working independently or in a team to clean, sanitize, and tidy varying workspaces including offices, warehouses, shopping centers or other locations.

\n

• Safely operating mechanical or manual equipment including vacuums, waxers, mops, polishers, and other standard janitorial items.

\n

• Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner.

\n

• Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor.

\n

• Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift.

\n

• There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.

\n

\n

It is important to Bluecrew that you go home in the same healthy state that you came to work in, so please do not accept this assignment if you cannot fulfill all of the above duties.

\n

RESPONSIBILITIES:

\n

\n
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors, aisles, and walkways.

\n

• Clean and restock restrooms, break rooms, and locker areas.

\n

• Empty trash and recycling containers and haul waste to disposal areas.

\n

• Wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces, workstations, and tables.

\n

• Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and other equipment safely once trained.

\n

• Handle cleaning chemicals according to label and safety instructions.

\n

• Report spills, hazards, and maintenance issues to your supervisor.

\n

• Communicate with supervisors and team leaders about any issues or concerns.

\n

• Meet attendance requirements and work in different areas as assigned.

\n

\n

REQUIREMENTS:

\n

\n
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus but not required.

\n

• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for an extended period.

\n

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

\n

• Positive team player attitude and reliable transportation.

\n

• Must arrive on time and commit to the schedule.

\n

\n

SCHEDULE:

• Full time. OT is available.

\n

\n

PAYDAY:

\n

\n
• Weekly, every Friday. On-Demand pay available.

\n

LOCATION RULES:

\n

\n
• No cell phone use or electronics on the warehouse floor. Use your cell phone only in designated areas on breaks.

\n

• No food or drinks at your workstations. Water and clear drinks are allowed.

\n

• You must use a clear bag and follow the dress code.

\n

• No headphones or earbuds in your ears are allowed while working.

\n

• Wearing the hood of a hoodie sweatshirt is not allowed on the warehouse floor.

\n

• Smoking and vaping is only permitted in the designated smoking area. The parking lot and warehouse are smoke & vape-free. ONLY VAPE & CIGARETTES ALLOWED IN THE SMOKING AREA.

\n

• You will be issued a badge after your first day. You must always wear your badge in the warehouse.

\n

• If you leave early let your FN supervisor know, then check out with your Bluecrew Onsite Manager at the Bluecrew desk.

\n

• Follow all safety guidelines. No leaning on the conveyor belt, and open it correctly. No running.

\n

• THERE ARE SECURITY CAMERAS THROUGHOUT THE WAREHOUSE AND PARKING LOT.

\n

\n

BREAKS & LUNCHES:

\n

\n
• MUST CLOCK OUT FOR LUNCH immediately, before starting your lunch break.

\n

• There are two 10 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch break.

\n

• Returning late from lunches or breaks can result in attendance points.

\n

• Please plan breaks allowing yourself enough time to use the restroom.

\n

\n

LOCATION INFO:

• Refrigerators, water dispensers, microwaves, vending machines, taco trucks, lockers, and cubbies on site.

\n

\n

ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS:

\n

\n
• Please arrive early, parking is tight!!!

\n

• Wait outside the warehouse for a Bluecrew Representative to check you in. If you arrive late or not in the dress code, you will be sent home without pay.

\n

• DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOU HAVE PRIOR APPOINTMENTS DURING WORKING HOURS AND CANNOT WORK THE EXACT POSTED FULL SCHEDULE.

\n

• CHECK THE DISTANCE FOR YOUR TRAVELING PURPOSES AND/OR BUS SCHEDULES.

\n

\n
