The Role
\n
People In AI is hiring a Staff AI Engineer to help build the foundational AI platform behind a growing suite of intelligent products.
\n
You’ll work across AI infrastructure and product engineering, taking systems from prototype to reliable production deployment. This is a high-autonomy IC role with significant influence over architecture, platform direction, and engineering standards.

What You’ll Do

- Build and scale AI platform capabilities across evals, observability, ingestion, and orchestration
- Design and improve RAG pipelines, embeddings workflows, retrieval systems, and prompt architectures
- Build tooling for testing, monitoring, versioning, and debugging LLM-powered systems
- Own AI systems from experimentation through production
- Partner with product, design, engineering, and domain experts to automate complex workflows
- Shape technical standards and architecture across the broader AI engineering organization

What You’ll Bring

- Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals
