POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for proper dining set-up, providing meal and dining services, and cleaning of the dining room.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilizes proper food handling and food service techniques.
Takes meal and drink orders and serves meals in a friendly and timely manner.
Assures resident and guest satisfaction with meals.
Maintains knowledge of daily specials and menu offerings.
Maintains assigned tables and surrounding areas in a complete state of cleanliness and readiness.
Follows daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
Assists with orientation and training of new food servers.
Practices all safety and loss prevention procedures.
Sets up and cleans the dining room while maintaining hospitality and service standards.
Maintains standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
Performs opening and closing checklist duties.
Assists in dining room organization and supplies placement.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in dining services preferred.
Experience working with seniors preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, guests, and team members.
Ability to read and follow instructions and procedures.
Demonstrates customer service, professionalism, and teamwork.
Ability to respond promptly to resident needs.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
