Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to support day-to-day sales activity and help maintain strong customer engagement in Goleta, California. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone with at least 1 year of experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to revenue-focused goals. The role involves assisting with inbound and outbound sales efforts, coordinating follow-up with prospects, and helping the team deliver responsive service throughout the sales process.
Responsibilities:
• Support the sales team by managing daily administrative and customer-facing tasks that keep the pipeline moving efficiently.
• Respond to incoming inquiries, qualify customer interest, and route opportunities to the appropriate sales contacts.
• Conduct outbound outreach to prospective clients to introduce services, generate interest, and schedule follow-up conversations.
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer notes, and activity updates to ensure clear visibility into ongoing opportunities.
• Assist with preparing sales materials, quotes, and communications that help move prospects through the decision-making process.
• Follow up with leads and existing customers to answer questions, provide updates, and encourage continued engagement.
• Coordinate with internal team members to ensure timely handling of customer requests and smooth sales support operations.• At least 1 year of experience in a sales support, inside sales, or related customer-facing role.
• Working knowledge of inside sales, direct sales, inbound sales, and outbound sales practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a busy work environment.
• Confidence in making outbound contact and following up consistently with leads and clients.
• Proficiency with basic business software and comfort learning sales tools or internal systems as needed.
