Staffing Specialist – Recruiting & Employee Support
Location: La Puente, CA
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Overtime and schedule flexibility required.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, screen, interview, and match candidates to client job openings.
- Source applicants through job boards, referrals, networking, online recruiting, and job fairs.
- Coordinate interviews, background checks, drug screenings, skills testing, and new-hire orientations.
- Complete onboarding paperwork, employment eligibility verification, and required hiring documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee, candidate, client, and job order records.
- Communicate with clients and associates regarding attendance, performance, job expectations, and satisfaction.
- Build strong client relationships through regular follow-up and client visits.
- Assist with employee concerns, timekeeping, payroll preparation, and workplace injury reporting.
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting recruiting deadlines and staffing needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, customer service, or office administration preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
- Flexible and dependable, with the ability to work overtime as business needs require.
