Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing expert speech-language pathology services within a supportive school setting. This full-time position, conveniently located near Elk Grove, CA, runs from December 2026 through August 2027 and allows you to make a meaningful difference in students’ educational journeys.

As a speech-language pathologist certified with CCC, your specialized skills will enable you to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to student success. Your knowledge and dedication will be instrumental in empowering students to overcome communication challenges and reach their full academic and social potential.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLP licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes and best practices in educational speech therapy
  • Excellent assessment, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Effective communicator dedicated to building positive relationships with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy and comprehensive assessments for students with communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Provide consultation and resources to educators and family members
