Job Title: Material Handler
Shifts:
Day 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM - $20/HR
Swing 3:45 PM - 12:15 AM - $21.50/HR
Job Description
You will move, sort, and prepare materials to keep production running smoothly. This is a physical job that involves heavy lifting and following safety rules.
Responsibilities
- Collect and sort recycling from production areas
- Separate cardboard and other recyclables from trash
- Move materials to the correct locations
- Load and unload pallets, racks, and trucks
- Stage materials for production and shipping
- Package and unpack items as needed
- Check materials and equipment for damage and report issues
- Keep records of damaged items and equipment
- Use RF scanners for part of your shift
- Move and load racks throughout the day
- Follow set processes when handling materials
- Focus on recycling and material prep tasks
- Perform other assigned warehouse tasks
Essential Skills
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Stand for long periods
- Comfortable using ladders
- Good hand coordination and attention to detail
- Follow instructions and work well in a team
- Basic communication skills
- Experience in warehouse or material handling preferred
- RF scanner and forklift experience is a plus
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or logistics environment.
- Comfort working in a structured, process-driven setting with close supervision.
- Attention to detail when examining items for defects, wear, or damage.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of damaged stock and equipment.
- Comfort working in roles focused on loading, material movement, and high-volume handling.
- Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and heavy lifting throughout the shift.
- Strong reliability and consistency in attendance to support long-term opportunities.

Work Environment
The work environment is an ESD-regulated, high-security production and warehouse setting. No personal electronics are allowed in the production area to maintain safety and security standards. You will wear smocks and ESD straps as part of the required attire and safety protocols. The role involves standing for prolonged periods, frequent heavy lifting, and working around racks, pallets, and material-handling equipment in a structured, process-driven environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
