This role focuses on second semester coverage, offering the chance to work 40 hours per week with a diverse student population across up to 10 schools. Your expertise will not only support direct student needs but also guide and supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), making a positive difference within the school community.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy services across multiple campus locations
• Experience supervising or mentoring COTAs is highly valued
• Strong communication and organizational skills for collaboration with educators and parents
• Proficiency in adapting interventions for students with a range of needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions to students across a variety of school sites
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Maintain thorough documentation of services, progress, and student outcomes
• Collaborate with special education teams and families to optimize student success
• Provide supervision, guidance, and support to a COTA, ensuring quality service delivery
• Prioritize caseload and manage schedule efficiently to serve up to 10 schools
