Shift: 4:00 p.m. to midnight; availability to work until 2:00 a.m. during peak periods is strongly preferred

Poor Richard’s Press is looking for an experienced embroidery machine operator to support our evening production team during the busy season. The right person has hands-on experience hooping garments and setting up and operating six-head embroidery machines. You’ll help keep jobs moving while producing clean, consistent work to each job’s specifications.

What you’ll do

  • Hoop garments and other products accurately, maintaining consistent placement and tension.
  • Set up, thread, load, and operate six-head embroidery machines.
  • Follow job tickets and approved sew-outs for design, thread colors, placement, and quantity.
  • Monitor machines and respond to thread breaks, needle changes, tension issues, and other routine interruptions.
  • Inspect finished work for placement, stitch quality, color, and defects; report any problems.
  • Keep your work area organized and follow production and safety procedures.

What we’re looking for

  • Previous production experience hooping and operating six-head embroidery machines is required.
  • Working knowledge of thread changes, bobbins, needles, tension adjustments, and basic machine troubleshooting.
  • Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work independently on an evening shift.
  • Availability from 4:00 p.m. to midnight, with flexibility to stay until 2:00 a.m. when production requires it.

This is a seasonal, part-time position. Weekly hours and assignment dates will depend on production needs.
