Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students in an elementary school setting in San Diego, CA. This contract opportunity will provide services to students from Pre-K through 6th grade while collaborating with multiple Occupational Therapists and the broader school-based team.

Position Details

• Position: Occupational Therapy Assistant

• Location: San Diego, CA

• Grade Levels: Pre-K–6th grade

• Schedule: 7:45 AM–2:45 PM daily

• Employment Type: Contract

• Setting: Elementary school

• Status: Accepting Candidates

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy support to students in grades Pre-K through 6th.

• Assist multiple Occupational Therapists in delivering school-based services.

• Support students in developing functional, academic, and school-related skills.

• Collaborate with OTs, teachers, school staff, and other related service providers.

• Follow individualized treatment and service plans as directed by supervising Occupational Therapists.

• Maintain appropriate documentation and communicate student progress with the educational team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Appropriate California Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure/certification required.

• School-based experience preferred.

• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.

Work Hours & Industry

• Monday–Friday

• 7:45 AM–2:45 PM daily

• School-based educational setting

• Students in Pre-K through 6th grade
