Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in the ER according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Triage, assess, and monitor patients; administer medications and treatments per protocol.
- Supervise and direct activities of other nursing staff as assigned; coordinate care with physicians and other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking and independent judgment to patient care; document accurately and maintain patient safety.
- Communicate with the interdisciplinary team and families to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- BLS certification
- ER nursing experience preferred
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN licensure required)
- Ability to work Nights and 12-hour shifts
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
