Role Description This is a full-time role for an Intermodal Class Driver based in Stockton, Sacramento and Reno. The driver will operate Class A trucks to transport intermodal containers between terminals, customer locations, and designated yards while following all safety and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, securing loads, maintaining accurate logs and delivery records, and communicating with dispatch and customers regarding pickup and delivery status. The role also involves adhering to company policies, coordinating with yard personnel and terminal staff, and providing professional customer service during each interaction.\n

  • Strong truck driving skills and experience operating commercial trucks, preferably with intermodal or regional haul experience.
  • \n

  • Valid CDL Class A license and a clean driving record, with knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • \n

  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, customers, and team members.
  • \n

  • Customer service skills to represent the company professionally during pickups, deliveries, and client interactions.
  • \n

  • Ability to complete paperwork and digital logs accurately, including trip sheets, inspection reports, and time records.
  • \n

  • Capability to work in a hybrid setup, including on-site driving duties in and around Yuba City, CA and limited administrative tasks from home.
  • \n

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings as needed, and to handle varying weather and road conditions.
  • \n

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in freight, logistics, or intermodal operations is an advantage.
