A healthcare facility in Daly City, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support their growing pharmacy team. This contract opportunity involves full-time hours with multiple shift start times available, offering flexibility to fit various schedules.

Type: Contract
Schedule:
- 8.5 hour shifts with 30-minute lunch break
- Shift start times at 6:00 AM, 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Handle prescription orders, including processing and verification of patient information
- Support pharmacy operations while adhering to safety and compliance regulations
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to maintain inventory and manage IV preparations
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably with some exposure to IV preparation and protocols
- Familiarity with prescription processing and pharmacy workflow
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Willingness to participate in on-the-job training to further develop technical skills
