Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of hospital experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or medical office setting
- Knowledge of patient registration
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of CPT and HCPCS codes
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Comfortable using phones, fax, scanners, and copy machines
- 1+ year of healthcare insurance verification experience preferred
- Some college coursework in business communication or data entry preferred
- No license or certification required
