Former Venture Capital Professional – Capital Introduction & Fundraising

SUBSTANTIAL PERFORMANCE-BASED COMPENSATION

We are an international invention and intellectual-property development entity involved in the development and commercialization of innovative technologies and business opportunities with potential applications in multiple markets.

We are seeking a highly qualified former venture capital professional with established relationships within the VC and institutional investment community to assist us in identifying and developing relationships with appropriate sources of substantial capital.

This is not a traditional sales or business-development position. We are specifically seeking someone who has worked inside the venture capital industry, understands how investment firms evaluate opportunities, and has the professional relationships necessary to obtain direct access to investment decision-makers.

The Opportunity

The selected individual will work directly with senior management to identify venture capital firms and other appropriate institutional capital sources for our inventions, intellectual property, technologies, and related commercial ventures.

Responsibilities will include identifying appropriate capital sources, facilitating introductions to partners and principals, coordinating presentations and discussions, and assisting management throughout the financing process.

Compensation

This position offers potentially very substantial performance-based compensation associated with successfully completed financing transactions, subject to a written compensation agreement and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Given the potential size of the financing opportunities, compensation for successful results may be significant.

Mandatory Qualification

Previous direct employment by a venture capital firm is required.

General fundraising, sales, consulting, business development, financial advisory, or investment banking experience alone does not satisfy this requirement.

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of venture capital investment criteria, due diligence, transaction structures, and investment committee processes, together with established professional relationships within the venture capital community.

Experience involving technology, intellectual property, inventions, commercialization, licensing, or emerging industries would be particularly valuable.
