Snapshot / Role Overview

We're looking for a BAS Service Programmer in Ventura County to diagnose, program, commission, and tune building automation systems for commercial facilities.

Impact

• Resolve complex control issues fast to protect tenant comfort and HVAC efficiency.
• Reduce downtime with proactive programming updates and tuning.
• Keep clients loyal through reliable, responsive service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and network control issues.
• Program, configure, and commission controllers, sequences, and graphics.
• Integrate third-party equipment over BACnet, Modbus, and other standard protocols.
• Troubleshoot control loops, sensors, actuators, and network communication on site.
• Develop and modify sequences of operation for building performance goals.
• Prioritize and schedule service calls with project managers and service teams.
• Document programming changes, configurations, and as-built conditions.

Must-Haves

• Mid-level experience programming and servicing commercial building automation systems.
• Working knowledge of BACnet and Modbus integration.
• Field troubleshooting skills on controls hardware and networks.

Nice-to-Haves

• Niagara or ALC certification.
• HVAC mechanical background.

Compensation and Logistics

Competitive salary depending on experience, plus benefits. Full-time, field-based across Ventura County.
