In this role, you’ll support a diverse caseload of up to 55 students, helping each one reach their unique communication potential. This opportunity is perfect for both SLPs with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates. Experience in pediatric settings, particularly in schools, is highly valued.
Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), providing direct and consultative speech-language therapy, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff. You’ll track progress, maintain thorough documentation, and help foster a supportive, inclusive educational environment. Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or current participation in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background in working with pediatric and K-12 student populations
- Experience in school-based speech-language services preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students
- Create and document individualized therapy plans
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for student needs
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
