SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the department Supervisor, the Masker is responsible for applying tape to product parts before applying metal-finishing chemicals and trim tape, using a variety of equipment and tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies, cuts, and applies silicone, masking tape or other specialized tape to use during the masking of specific parts from work order forms.
- Places parts on and off racks as needed.
- Prepares and packages parts for shipping.
- Adheres to safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to pay attention to detail and follow precise instructions.
- Ability to apply tape to all parts.
- Comfortable using basic tools.
- Comfortable in a chemical environment.
