Shifts Available:
1st Shift – M-F 6:00am-2:30pm
2nd Shift – M-F 4:00pm-12:30am
Summary / Objective
The Production Technician works in all areas of Production which includes, working with composite structures, producing complex assemblies, tape wrapping, and compression molding.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete work orders/travelers when they are scheduled to be finalized.
- Utilizing ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.
- Understand the production process in the various areas which include tape wrapping, cutting, and compression molding
- Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Set up, operate, or tend metal molding, casting, or coremaking machines to mold metal parts or products.
- Smooth and clean inner surfaces of molds, using brushes, scrapers, air hoses, or grinding wheels, and fill imperfections with refractory material.
- Adjust equipment and workpiece holding fixtures, such as mold frames, tubs, and cutting tables, to ensure proper functioning.
- Mix and measure compounds or weigh premixed compounds, and dump them into machine tubs, cavities, or molds.
- Inspect metal, plastic, or composite products.
- Adjust temperature controls of ovens.
- Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.
- Maintain production or processing equipment.
- Use of upper body mobility, such as bending, use of arms and hands, and standing for the majority of the time.

Experience and Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 25lbs.

Salay DOE:
$17.00 - $22.00 if experience $23-$24
