Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to work with early elementary and preschool-aged students in a supportive, on-site school environment. This contract role offers flexibility and professional fulfillment by allowing you to focus on meaningful speech services for young learners.

As a valued SLP, you will collaborate closely with staff and families to support successful student outcomes. Your expertise will make a direct impact on a caseload of 25 speech-only students, while also providing IEP support for approximately 7-10 students with a range of special education needs. This position is designed to fit into your schedule, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days each week, typically working 23-24 hours across 4 days.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with preschool and early elementary students
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 25 speech-only students as the primary case manager
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention for students with speech and language disorders
  • Offer IEP support and consultative services for 7-10 additional students receiving SPED services
  • Attend, contribute to, and document progress in IEP meetings as required
  • Develop individualized therapy goals tailored to student needs
  • Partner with educators and parents to maximize student communication outcomes
