Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to work with early elementary and preschool-aged students in a supportive, on-site school environment. This contract role offers flexibility and professional fulfillment by allowing you to focus on meaningful speech services for young learners.

As a valued SLP, you will collaborate closely with staff and families to support successful student outcomes. Your expertise will make a direct impact on a caseload of 25 speech-only students, while also providing IEP support for approximately 7-10 students with a range of special education needs. This position is designed to fit into your schedule, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days each week, typically working 23-24 hours across 4 days.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with preschool and early elementary students
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of 25 speech-only students as the primary case manager
Provide direct therapy and intervention for students with speech and language disorders
Offer IEP support and consultative services for 7-10 additional students receiving SPED services
Attend, contribute to, and document progress in IEP meetings as required
Develop individualized therapy goals tailored to student needs
Partner with educators and parents to maximize student communication outcomes
