Location: Woodland Hills, California

Position Summary

We are seeking a self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused Account Executive to manage key customer accounts, drive sales growth, and support new business development within the builder hardware and fasteners industry.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with manufacturing hardware products and a strong understanding of builder hardware, hinges, fasteners, screws, and related industrial or construction supply categories. Experience working with major home improvement retailers such as Home Depot or Lowe's is highly preferred.

This role will involve close coordination with customers, overseas manufacturers, and internal operations teams to ensure successful order execution, customer satisfaction, and long-term account growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow assigned customer accounts within builder hardware, fasteners, screws, hinges, and related product lines.

• Handle customer inquiries, quotations, pricing negotiations, and order follow-up.

• Coordinate with overseas manufacturers and internal operations teams regarding production schedules, shipping timelines, and order fulfillment.

• Monitor customer demand, forecast opportunities, and identify new sales growth opportunities.

• Resolve customer issues related to pricing, lead times, quality, and logistics in a timely and professional manner.

• Prepare sales reports, account updates, and market feedback for management.

• Support new customer development and product-line expansion initiatives.

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities for account growth.

• Collaborate with management on strategic account planning and revenue growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, sales, merchandising, or business development within manufacturing hardware, builder hardware, fasteners, screws, hinges, or industrial supply industries.

• Previous experience working with major retail or hardware companies such as Home Depot or Lowe's is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of hardware product specifications, customer requirements, manufacturing processes, and order management.

• Proven ability to manage customer relationships and drive account growth.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.

• Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and standard business communication tools.

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with overseas manufacturers and import/export order management.

• Existing customer relationships or network within hardware, construction supply, industrial distribution, or retail channels.

• Strong understanding of production lead times, sourcing, and supply chain coordination.

• Ability to manage multiple projects, customer accounts, and deadlines simultaneously.

• Experience with merchandising or product management within hardware-related product categories.
