Customer Service Associate – South San Francisco, CA

Auto-Chlor System is hiring a Customer Service Associate to join our growing team. We’ve been serving businesses across the country since 1938, building our reputation on dependable service, quality products, and strong customer relationships.

This is more than a traditional customer service position. You’ll spend your time working directly with customers, managing accounts, solving problems, and learning the products and equipment that keep their businesses running. Pay Range

$25 per hour

$52,000 - $62,000 per year or more

What You’ll Do

As a Customer Service Associate, you’ll become a trusted resource for your customers and an important part of the local Auto-Chlor team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Build strong relationships with assigned customers and provide responsive, dependable service
  • Manage customer accounts and identify opportunities to grow those relationships
  • Deliver chemicals, supplies, and other products directly to customers
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on commercial equipment
  • Learn equipment installation and refurbishing through hands-on cross-training
  • Identify customer needs and recommend additional products or services when appropriate
  • Maintain accurate inventory and manage your daily schedule
  • Respond to customer questions and help resolve service-related issues
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support customers during emergency service situations
  • Represent Auto-Chlor professionally while working with customers and throughout the community

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people but also likes being active and hands-on. You don’t need to know everything on day one—we provide extensive paid training and will teach you the Auto-Chlor way.

  • Dependable, honest, and comfortable working independently
  • Eager to learn and interested in building a long-term career
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with basic hand tools
  • Organized and able to manage time and multiple priorities
  • Comfortable spending the day driving, visiting customers, and working on your feet
  • A strong communicator who can build positive customer relationships

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
  • Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
