ShaMynds Healing Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our growing clinical team.

Our patients come to us seeking care for a variety of mental health and wellness concerns, including depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma-related symptoms, and other complex or treatment-resistant conditions. Many of the individuals we serve have been struggling for years and are looking for a different path forward. We take seriously the trust patients place in us and strive to make every interaction feel safe, respectful, compassionate, and individualized.

We are looking for an LVN who combines strong hands-on IV skills with exceptional bedside manner and who understands that excellent clinical care involves more than completing a procedure—it means helping patients feel genuinely cared for throughout their experience.

About the Role
\n
This is a full-time, 32- 40-hour-per-week position for an LVN with significant practical experience starting and managing IVs.
\n
Hands-on IV experience is required. IV certification without substantial real-world IV experience is not sufficient for this position.
\n
As an LVN at ShaMynds, you will work closely with our medical providers and interdisciplinary care team to support patients receiving ketamine and other treatments. You will start and monitor IVs, administer medications and supplements within your scope and under appropriate provider orders and supervision, monitor patients throughout treatment, document care accurately, and help maintain a safe and peaceful treatment environment.

Because many of our patients are receiving treatment for mental health and trauma-related concerns, we are looking for someone who is clinically confident while also being calm, patient, observant, empathetic, and reassuring.

What You'll Do

- Start, maintain, and monitor IV ketamine infusions in accordance with provider orders, established protocols, scope of practice, and applicable regulations
- Administer IM ketamine under appropriate provider direction and within scope of practice
- Administer ordered nutritional and wellness supplements within scope of practice
- Obtain and accurately document vital signs before, during, and after treatment
- Closely monitor patients throughout treatment for changes in physical or emotional status
- Recognize potential adverse reactions or complications and respond promptly according to clinical protocols
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely patient charting and documentation
- Prepare treatment rooms before patient appointments and ensure rooms remain clean, organized, comfortable, and fully stocked
- Follow medication safety, infection-control, and clinical safety protocols
- Communicate clearly and promptly with providers and other members of the care team regarding patient status or concerns
- Support patients before, during, and after treatment with a calm and reassuring presence
- Help create a treatment experience in which patients feel respected, heard, and cared for
- Work collaboratively with our medical, therapeutic, and administrative teams to provide a seamless patient experience

What We're Looking for
\n
Required:
\n
- \n
- Active California LVN license in good standing
- Strong hands-on experience starting IVs and managing IV lines
- Confidence performing IV starts on a regular basis
- Excellent vital-sign monitoring and patient-observation skills
- Ability to recognize changes in patient condition and communicate concerns appropriately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
- Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered bedside manner
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a small team
- Comfortable working with patients receiving treatment for mental health and trauma-related conditions

Preferred:
\n
- \n
- 2–3+ years of clinical nursing experience
- Previous infusion-center, procedural, outpatient, emergency, urgent care, or similar hands-on clinical experience
- Experience caring for patients during IV medication administration or infusion therapy
- Experience in behavioral health, psychiatry, integrative medicine, or ketamine therapy is a plus
