Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Experience delivering individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong understanding of classroom accommodations, modifications, and behavior support plans
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff
• Ability to develop and implement instruction for students with diverse backgrounds and abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver differentiated lessons to accommodate various learning styles and special needs
• Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Maintain organized records, assessments, and documentation for compliance and communication
• Foster a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student progress with families and team members
