Location:
- West Sacramento, CA, with coverage needed in Sacramento, Bay Area/North Bay, and Northern California (Redding, Chico)
- Must be willing to commute within these regions; mileage reimbursement available for travel over 30 miles one way
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert retail pharmacy services including medication dispensing and counseling
- Manage pharmacy operations including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise and coordinate pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
- Administer immunizations in accordance with state regulations
- Utilize McKesson’s Enterprise (ERx) software for prescription processing and inventory management
- Cover 1-2 shifts per week on average, adapting to variable scheduling needs
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Immunization certification required
- Experience in managing pharmacy operations and supervising staff
- Ability to work independently and handle fluctuating shift demands
- Comfortable traveling throughout the broader Northern California region
