Job DescriptionSalary: $22-$27

Position Summary

The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and issuing electronic components and materials used in the manufacturing of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). This role ensures accurate inventory control, proper material handling, and timely delivery of components to production lines such as SMT and assembly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming electronic components, raw materials, and supplies.
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy.
  • Label, store, and organize materials in designated stockroom locations.
  • Issues components and materials to production departments (SMT, Assembly, Engineering, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP/MRP system.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full inventory counts.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of MSD and ESD-sensitive components.
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
  • Perform kit audits, by checking electronic component PN against BOM.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.
  • Assist with shipping, packaging, and internal material transfers when needed.
  • Follow company quality procedures and inventory control policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience working with electronic components is a plus.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with ERP/MRP inventory systems preferred.
  • Ability to read part numbers, labels, and basic documentation accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 2540 lbs occasionally.

  • Electronics manufacturing environment with ESD-controlled areas.
  • May require wearing ESD wrist straps, smocks, and other protective equipment.
