Key Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or students in an educational or care setting
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work with students of diverse backgrounds and learning needs
- Patience, empathy, and reliability in supporting classroom routines and positive behavior
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing daily activities
- High school diploma or equivalent (some assignments may require further education or credentialing)
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with the delivery of instructional activities, classroom management, and group supervision
- Support students one-on-one or in small groups with assignments, social interaction, and participation
- Help implement lesson plans, accommodate learning differences, and reinforce academic or behavioral goals
- Provide supervision and encouragement during classroom and school activities, both indoors and outdoors
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to enrich the learning experience
